W. D. Smith - President / Trainer left behind the corporate work of Operations, Inside Sales and Customer Service to join his mother, Barbara Burnett Smith, in the family business. The change came easily as he had the support of Martie, his wife of sixteen years, and his children, Tyler and Shelby. Besides managing the company, W.D. with his family stay busy with their new home and the acreage. When not training or improving the property, W.D. can be found wade fishing the bay. Having grown up on a farm in Brady, TX, he likes to say that he's a "country boy in a business suit." Those hard-working ethics of the country are still maintained today. Today Catalyst is enjoying it's success with the help of many other trainers, production personnel and partners.
Gary W. Petry - Chief Financial Partner / Consultant has been working with Catalyst since the first days of training as the accounting arm of the company. Upon taking over Catalyst and creating the partnership it currently operates under he has been instrumental in keeping the day to day operations running smoothly, supporting staff and clients. As part of the management team and his role as a CPA he continues to aid clients in general accounting functions and day to day operations of the partnership. His training background allowed Catalyst to create training material around project management, and small business best practices that is suitable for many project teams and new project leaders.
