W.D. Smith III of Catalyst Training & Development spent an evening with The Society of Women Engineers a local Austin Chapter on Dealing with Difficult People at Work.  A topic that is often asked about and discussed in our presentation and communication classes.  The evening included a great meal and short presentation on several of the key elements in dealing with coworkers.  A highlight of the night was watching everyone raise there hands and start the questions rolling on one type of worker, a situation or problematic peer.  The Q&A lasted longer than the presentation with everyone having a chance to add their input on the subject.

"I was able to hear first hand from several attendees what a difference my topic was going to make in their work life."  W.D. stated leaving the event.  Companies represented at the meeting were Dell, Inc. , IBM, Solectron, Freescale and AMD.  "We enjoyed having Mr. Smith here, it was great to work with previously and to have him come and speak in a less formal environment.  He has given us all a lot to think about..."  President K. Mohiuddin of the chapter.
